Bi-Racial Families

"How do I accept one race without rejecting a part of me? This dilemna I debate with my family, myself and my world. What piece of the puzzle do I fit?"

A riveting personal story full of twist and turns, because just when your heart skips a beat, a tear falls from your eye, you ask yourself, how did she survive?

Lise Leist currently is a fifth grade teacher at a private school in Stamford, CT. This is Lise’s “second career.” Formerly, career opportunities afforded her work in publishing, serving in senior management positions for USA Today, The New York Post and Mirabella Magazine.

She also has been trained and certified by The Protocol School of Washington, the leader in etiquette and protocol services. The activities included in her program are specifically designed to reinforce verbal and written lessons introduced to students with a growing emphasis on character education.
